Budget 2022 was released, and we want to hear from you. We want to hear your thoughts and ideas on what could be different to make Alberta better.
This budget should have been an opportunity for our province to begin healing the scars of the pandemic by supporting families, repairing our economy and reinvesting in frontline public services.
Instead, we saw cuts to teachers in schools, a massive move to privatized healthcare and more costs to Alberta families through income tax and additional fees. Simply put, families already under pressure will be worse off because of the UCP's latest budget and there is no help coming for their skyrocketing utility bills.
There needs to be a better path. We need all Albertans to let us know what they would prioritize, like or change in Budget 2022.
Join us Wednesday, March 9th at 6:00 pm for our post-budget town hall with Finance Critic Shannon Phillips, Energy Critic Kathleen Ganley, Health Critic David Shepherd and Municipal Affairs Critic Joe Ceci.
